Roles and Responsibilities

Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety compliance and assist in the achievement of meeting company EHS Goals and Initiatives
Ensure the plant activities are compliant with Company’s EHS Policies, Standards & Procedures
Act as a Plant EHS Management Representative and ensure that the ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 standard requirements are complied
Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and standards to ensure compliance
Establish Annual Key Performance Indicators and track for compliance
Manage EHS Statistics reporting of the plant and provide regular EHS performance updates to Corporate EHS
Interface effectively with peer departments – Engineering, Production, Security and HR to achieve company’s EHS goals and objectives
Perform EHS Audits and Inspections; prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective and preventative measures where indicated
Participate and assist the Supervisors, Area In charges in the investigation of incidents to determine root cause and corrective actions where necessary
Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work place risks, raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices
Assist in developing, implementing employee EHS Training programmes.
Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering Full Time: (Mechanical / EEE)

OR

Diploma in Engineering Full Time: (Mechanical / EEE)

Additional Qualification: M.E. or Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering

2. Experience:

For B.E. / M.E. – Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing industry (Mandatory)

For Diploma – Minimum 20 years of experience in manufacturing industry (Mandatory)
