POSITION SUMMARY:
The prospective candidate will be the Operations member of designated Solution Realization Teams (SRTs) and will be Single Point of Contact for all Global Operations organizations for assigned Assisted and Self-Service programs.
The candidate’s primary responsibility will be the global project management of new product introduction programs. The candidate will also have lifecycle management responsibilities which include managing of all product-related operational activities required to maintain products after launch.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Development, review and management of Operations Scope documents and Project Plans
Business case analytics support for all assigned projects
Risk Buy development for assigned projects
Lead Operations NPI/Lifecycle management for all assigned programs
Develop manufacturing ramp plans with the SRT and NCR manufacturing network
Risk assessment, action plans, and communication on all projects
Financial analysis & Total Cost of Ownership for total business solution
Operational guidance during concept phase of product development
Schedule adherence, DFx requirements, and develop plans to address gaps
Drive continuous improvement and lean methodologies into NPI processes
Manage Engineering Change Control (ECC) impacts to operations schedules
Drive adherence to Global Operations Strategic initiatives
Product sourcing accountability through analytics and supply chain collaboration
Manage and support cost reduction activities and respective implementation requirements
System set up/data maintenance/analytics of various NCR global process systems
Ensure Metric definition/measurement of operational metrics on all assigned projects
Quality management support and issue resolution for assigned projects
Communicate effectively with all global team members and senior management
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: (Education and Background)
Work Experience: Overall 8 – 10 years total experience out of which minimum of 3 years’ experience in Program Management , Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain or related fields. Project leadership/management experience using MS Project. Strong knowledge of program management, manufacturing processes and total cost of ownership analytics.
Bachelor Degree in Technical, Operations Management, or related field. (Mechanical or Electronics Engineering is a MUST)
Masters Degree in Technical, Operations Management, or related field (preferred)
PMP Certification
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
Financial Acumen
KEY SKILLS:
Strong project management skills managing NPI program schedules with multiple functional input and management Coordination and negotiation skills; Ability to influence cross-functional teams as well as Operations functions for effective planning and implementation Cross-function understanding of supply chain functions and their value add in the fulfillment of new products Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize actions / initiatives Strong knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management processes, key inputs for success for operations, and key deliverables at each phase gate Supply chain optimization leadership experience; Design for postponement, sourcing recommendations, and make/buy analytics Technical understanding of solutions, their design and strategic fit to manufacturing Ability to provide DFX (manufacturing, testing, postponement, logistics, service) in solution requirements and drive closure for results at design reviews.
